There are many attractions for tourists in and around Oudtshoorn where we will visit  the Cango Caves, one of South Africa's most famous and well-loved tourist attractions and get the opportunity to ride an ostrich!

Day 1: Depart from your Hotel at 07h00, we take the N2 and make our way over Sir Lowry’s Pass, onto the picturesque Swellendam in the heart of the wheat lands. From here we will head towards Oudtshoorn via Route 62, passing a number of small towns that make this route so popular.
In Oudtshoorn, where we will overnight, we will visit the unique Cango Caves, a cultural and natural landmark in South Africa.
The 20 million-year-old Cango Caves system consists of a series of hidden chambers cut deep into a thick limestone rock layer.

Quick Facts about the Cango Caves:
Frequently described as one of the great Natural Wonders of The World.
The biggest show cave system in Africa.
Inhabited since the Early Stone Age.
It is South Africa's oldest tourist attraction.

Day 2: In its heyday, Oudtshoorn was famous for the export of ostrich feathers to the fashionable ladies of Europe. The derelict mansions tell many a story of the once wealthy feather barons who succumbed to the changing fashions whims of the ladies.
After breakfast, we will visit an ostrich farm where the brave will have the opportunity to ride an ostrich!
From Oudtshoorn, we will travel to the Garden Route gem, Plettenberg Bay, where we will overnight.
En route we will stop at the Knysna heads to take some photos of the scenic views of the treacherous entrance to the ocean from the lagoon before we travel to the Knysna Elephant Park for a guided tour.
A Plettenberg Bay we will spend the late afternoon watching the sunset on a beautiful sandy beach before settling down in our luxurious accommodation overlooking a vast ocean.

Day 3: Anticipating a day full of African wildlife as we head off to Garden Route Game lodge for a late morning game drive Safari. Here you will encounter Africa’s icons big 5- African elephant, Black rhinoceros, Cape buffalo, African lion, African leopard.
